PURA, Tarlac (May 5, 2026) — Just over a week after her stunning Top 7 finish at the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 pageant, Marian Arellano of Pura, Tarlac, added another major honor to her name. She was crowned Miss Tourism World Philippines 2026 during the Miss Philippines Coronation Ball held Sunday evening, May 10, at the Grand Ballroom of City of Dreams Manila.
The event, organized by the Empire Philippines organization, served as the formal awarding ceremony for the queens who will represent the country in various international pageants. Arellano, who captivated audiences during the national finals with her grace, advocacy, and heartfelt answers, was among the distinguished winners of the evening.
A Night of Crowns and Celebration
The Coronation Ball came one week after the Miss Universe Philippines 2026 coronation night on May 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, where La Union’s Bea Millan-Windorski was named the winner. Windorski will now prepare to represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2026 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, this coming November.
Joining Windorski in the Top 7 of that competition were Arellano, Cebu Province’s Nicole Borromeo, Cebu City’s Apriel Smith, Pampanga’s Allyson Hetland, Sultan Kudarat’s Jenrose Javier, and Taguig City’s Ysabella Ysmael. All six were awarded titles at the Coronation Ball.
Arellano received the prestigious Miss Tourism World Philippines 2026 crown, entitling her to represent the country in the upcoming Miss Tourism World international competition. The Tourism World pageant focuses on promoting cultural heritage, sustainable tourism, and global goodwill, a perfect fit for Arellano, whose advocacy centers on empowering rural youth through education and digital opportunities.
Other Titleholders Crowned
The evening saw several other queens receive their crowns. Allyson Hetland of Pampanga was named Miss Supranational Philippines 2027, while Apriel Smith of Cebu City took home Miss Charm Philippines 2026. Ysabella Ysmael of Taguig was crowned Miss Cosmo Philippines 2026, and Jenrose Javier of Sultan Kudarat earned the title Miss Eco International Philippines 2027.
Meanwhile, Nicole Borromeo of Cebu Province was named Miss Worldwide Philippines 2026. Additional winners included Trexy Roxas of Iligan as Miss Eco Teen Philippines 2026 and Catherine Wardle of Samar Island as Miss Teen Universe Philippines 2026.
All of the newly crowned queens will represent the Philippines in their respective international competitions in the coming months.
Tarlac’s Pride Shines Once More
For Tarlac, Marian Arellano’s back-to-back achievements, first a historic Top 7 finish at Miss Universe Philippines, now a national tourism title have cemented her status as one of the province’s most successful pageant representatives. She first gained recognition as Binibining Kanlahi 2025, a provincial pageant titleholder from her hometown of Pura.
Her evening gown for the Coronation Ball, as with her earlier appearance, celebrated Filipino craftsmanship. She has consistently used her platform to champion rural development, believing that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty in communities like her own.
As Miss Tourism World Philippines 2026, Arellano will now prepare to bring the beauty, heritage, and resilience of Tarlac and the entire Philippines to the global stage.
