TARLAC CITY, Tarlac (Jan. 26, 2026) – The Provincial Government of Tarlac (PGT), under the leadership of Governor Christian Tell Yap, has taken significant steps to enhance public service delivery and community support through two simultaneous distribution programs held at the provincial capitol grounds.
In a simple ceremony on Thursday, January 22, Governor Yap led the distribution of 15 brand-new tuk-tuk motorcycles to various municipalities, hospitals, and barangays across the province. The initiative aims to improve mobility and operational efficiency for local government units and key service offices.
Among the recipients were the Concepcion District Hospital, the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) in Moncada, the municipal government of Concepcion, and several barangays including Tubectubang, Tolega Norte, Tolega Sur, Lapsing, and Maluac in Moncada, Barangay San Roque in La Paz, and Surgui 2nd in Camiling.
In his address, Governor Yap congratulated the beneficiaries and emphasized the importance of using the vehicles to expedite and enhance public service.
“Congratulations to all of you. I hope this assistance will help us deliver faster and better service to our respective communities,” Governor Yap stated. “Always drive safely, and let us continue working together to further accelerate our service for our fellow Tarlaqueños.”
He was assisted during the turnover by Engr. Raymundo Cancio.
Simultaneously, at the Bulwagang Kanlahi within the Diwa ng Tarlac, the provincial government also conducted a large-scale distribution of assistive devices and essential equipment to residents in need.
The awarded items included wheelchairs, solar-powered lights, deep-well water pumps, various electric devices, tables, monoblock chairs, tents, and other livelihood and daily living aids.
Governor Yap, spearheaded the activity, which is part of the provincial government’s broader commitment to supporting vulnerable sectors and improving the quality of life for all Tarlaqueños.
These events underscore the PGT’s proactive approach to governance, focusing on logistical support for local service delivery and direct assistance to communities, reaffirming the administration’s drive to serve the province with efficiency and compassion.
