TARLAC CITY, Tarlac (April 1, 2024) — Tarlac 2nd Congressional District Representative Christian Yap graced the inauguration of the new Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) extension office here last week.
The new DSWD office at the Diwa ng Tarlak will help avoid overcrowding in the existing processing areas and bring various services and interventions closer to the people.
The congressman also thanked DSWD Secretary Rex Gathchalian for setting up an office in the province.
“Taus-puso po tayong nagpapasalamat sa buong pamilya ng DSWD sa pangunguna po ng ating butihing Secretary Rex Gatchalian,” Rep. Yap said during the inauguration of the office.
Tarlac Governor Susan Yap, DSWD Regional Director Venus Rebuldela, Assistant Regional Director for Operations Armont Pecina, and Victoria Mayor Rex Villa Agustin were present at the opening of the new office.
