TARLAC CITY, Tarlac (Oct. 25, 2023) — With less than a week left before the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan 2023 elections, the Regional Police has deployed 13,160 police officers in the region’s seven provinces.
BGen. Jose Hidalgo Jr, Police Regional Office – Central Luzon (PRO-3) Director said that the police force will help address any election-related incidents in Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Aurora, Bataan, and Zambales.
“The men and women of the PRO-3, equipped with essential resources, hereby reaffirmed our unwavering commitment to the principles that will guide our actions throughout the electoral process. Our mission is to safeguard the democratic process and we will do so with honor and dedication,” Hidalgo said in a statement.
The Regional Police chief said that they are encouraging the public to report any suspicious activities they may observe during the elections on Oct. 30.
