Paniqui’s Roxas-Roxas tandem continues public service – even on Sundays

PANIQUI, Tarlac (August 20, 2023) — A medical, dental, and surgical mission here has been attracting hundreds of residents.

According to Vice-Mayor Bien Roxas, the whole-day medical mission will serve at least 1,000 residents.

Asked why they have to do the medical mission on a Sunday, the Vice-Mayor said that their constituents need the services.

“The needs of our constituents take precedence over our rest days. Hindi namimili ng araw and pangangailangan ng aming mga kababayan kaya pagod man, kailangan pa rin namin silang paglingkuran,” Roxas said.

The Paniqui Medical, Dental, and surgical activity is in collaboration with St. Luke’s Sagip Bayan Foundation, Inc. in partnership with St. Luke’s Medical Center and is being staged at the Eduardo Cojuangco Gymnasium from 8 am to 4 pm today.

The minor surgeries being performed include the circumcision of school-age boys.
