TARLAKENYO (June 17, 2023) — The latest Marvel Spider-man game for PlayStation 5, releasing on Oct. 20, will include a familiar Filipino ornament called the “Agimat” suit.
Agimat is a term that originated in the Philippines and refers to a type of amulet or charm believed to possess supernatural powers for protection, good fortune, or enhancing one’s abilities.
Agimats are typically made from various materials such as stones, bones, plants, or metals, and may be worn as pendants, bracelets, or carried as pocket charms.
The game will feature a total of 10 unique suits, with five for Miles Morales and the other five for Peter Parker. Both characters have their own stories and missions set in different parts of New York City.
Pre-orders for the game started on June 16, and additional information can be found on their website.
