“Ongoing pa rin ang ating SIM card registration,” Rep. Jaime Cojuangco of the First Congressional District of Tarlac said on his social media account.

He then posted the QR codes linked to the respective SIM card registration sites of DITO, Globe, and Smart.

There are a total of 170 million SIM cards to be registered, according to the data from the three telecommunications companies – newcomer DITO has 14 million, Globe 87.9 million, and Smart with 68 million.

Under Republic Act 11934, or the SIM Registration Law, all new and existing SIM cards are required to be registered – starting on December 27, 2022, until April 26, 2023, to avoid deactivation.
