TARLAC CITY, Tarlac — Local entrepreneurs, aspiring business owners, and members of the public gathered at the Tarlac City Plazuela Convention Hall on Wednesday, July 15, for the official opening of the 4th Tarlac Business Conference & Expo (BIZCONEX 2026).
The two-day event, which runs until July 16, 2026, features a series of business forums, networking activities, and exhibits showcasing diverse products and services from various enterprises across Central Luzon. It aims to serve as a platform for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), students, and local stakeholders looking to discover fresh ideas, expand their professional networks, and explore new business opportunities.
Tarlac City Mayor Susan Yap attended the opening ceremony to express her support for the local business community and the growth of regional entrepreneurship.
“Masaya akong nakiisa sa pagbubukas ng BIZCONEX 2026, isang pagkakataon para sa ating mga entrepreneurs, MSMEs, at sa lahat ng may pangarap na magsimula at palaguin ang sariling negosyo,” Yap said.
She encouraged residents to visit the expo and maximize the resources and connections available at the venue.
“Inaanyayahan ko ang ating mga kababayan na bumisita at samantalahin ang pagkakataong matuto, makakuha ng bagong ideas, makabuo ng connections, at makatuklas ng mga oportunidad na makakatulong sa pagpapalago ng kanilang negosyo. Naniniwala ako na bawat negosyong lumalago ay nagbibigay rin ng mas maraming oportunidad para sa ating mga kababayan at mas nagpapalakas sa ekonomiya ng Tarlac. Patuloy nating suportahan ang ating mga local entrepreneurs at sama-sama nating ipakita ang galing at sipag ng mga Tarlakenyo,” she added.
Organizers have opened BIZCONEX 2026 to the general public, inviting anyone interested in business development to explore the exhibits and participate in discussions throughout the event.
