TARLAC CITY, Tarlac — Residents of Barangay Balanti gained access to vital public infrastructure following the official opening of a new bridge and a covered court aimed at improving local mobility and community gatherings after these were officialy inaugurated by City Mayor Susan Yap.
The bridge, linking barangays Balanti and Armenia, is now open for public use and is part of the Tarlac City Southwest Diversion Road. The covered court at the Bonifacia Soliman High School will be used by residents and students for sports events and community gatherings, and other local activities.
Both projects commenced during Yap’s term as governor and completed by incumbent governor Christian Yap.
Yap said it was fulfilling to see projects that were once in the planning stage become facilities that now benefit the community.
She added that the completion of the projects highlights the importance of continuing development efforts across different administrations to ensure that public infrastructure reaches more communities.
“Masaya sa pakiramdam na makita ang mga proyektong minsan ay plano pa lamang, ngayon ay nagsisilbi na sa ating mga kababayan. Patuloy tayong magtutulungan upang makapaghatid ng mas marami pang proyektong tunay na may pakinabang para sa bawat Tarlaqueño,” Yap said.
