Rivera helps Capas tricycle drivers with franchise fees

CAPAS, Tarlac (March 15, 2026) — In a continued show of support for the local transport sector, Tarlac 3rd District Rep. Noel “Bong” Rivera provided financial assistance to over 4,000 tricycle operators and drivers in the municipality on Friday, March 13.

Held at the Capas Event Center, the program distributed ₱500 each to qualified beneficiaries. The aid, organized in coordination with the Capas MTFRB (Motorized Tricycle Franchise Regulatory Board), is intended to cover their franchise renewal fees, significantly reducing the out-of-pocket expenses required for drivers to maintain their legal operations.

The initiative underscores the congressman’s steadfast commitment to the tricycle operators and drivers of Capas, a sector he consistently supports. This assistance arrives at a particularly challenging time, as drivers also grapple with soaring gasoline prices driven by ongoing tensions in the Middle East.

Vice Mayor Alex Espinosa, along with other local government officials, were present at the event and expressed their gratitude to Congressman Rivera for his unwavering support for the drivers of Capas.
