TARLAC CITY, Tarlac (January 29, 2026) ā The spirit of sisterhood and service is alive and well in Tarlac as the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) Tarlac Council officially kicks off its 52nd Provincial Camp.
Running from January 29 to February 1, 2026, the four-day event has transformed Camp Planas in San Juan de Mata into a vibrant hub of leadership, outdoor skills, and character building.
Under the banner theme, “Once a Girl Scout, Always a Girl Scout,” the camp aims to reinforce the lifelong commitment of Scouting values in the hearts of young TarlaqueƱas.
Tarlac Governor Christian Yap graced the first day of the jamboree, taking to social media to express his pride in the gathering’s success and the importance of investing in young women.
The governor also thanked the GSP, teachers, and parents for their participation in the jamboree.
This year’s provincial camp brings together hundreds of participants, organized into their respective school districts. This structure not only fosters healthy competition during activities but also strengthens the bonds between local schools, creating a unified front for youth development in the province.
The campers will engage in a variety of challenges designed to test their resilience, from traditional knot-tying and outdoor cooking to modern leadership workshops and community-building exercises.
