CONCEPCION, Tarlac (Sept. 18, 2025) — The Schools Division of Tarlac Province conducted its Division Management Committee (ManCom) meeting at the Don Alfredo De Leon Conference Hall within the Concepcion Municipal Government Center.
The meeting was led by Dr. Ronnie S. Mallari, PhD, CESO V, the Regional Director who also serves as the current Officer-in-Charge for the Schools Division of Tarlac Province. In attendance were the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Chief Education Supervisors, Public Schools District Supervisors, Education Program Supervisors, Unit Heads, and School Heads from public elementary and secondary schools across the province.
In his address, RD Mallari emphasized the critical importance of discipline and unity in implementing educational reforms, stating, “We are making Tarlac Province excel above other Divisions… when we implement reforms, we need discipline and to be united.”
He also highlighted upcoming academic contests and the significant incentives prepared for winning municipalities, which include major projects like a covered court or other school needs. These incentives are part of the support offered by Governor Christian Yap.
Mr. Renato Lindo, Private Secretary to the Mayor, delivered a message on behalf of Mayor Noel Villanueva. He commended the local Public Schools District Supervisors for their efficient coordination with the municipal office and reaffirmed that the DepEd is always welcome in the municipality.
The Division ManCom is a regular gathering of top officials from the Schools Division Office to discuss strategies, policies, and critical decisions for the effective management of schools throughout the province.
During the session, they reviewed the 1st Quarter Learners’ Assessment Results, discussed Senior High School Talent Economy Models, received updates on City/Community Colleges, and presented the plans for the 2nd Semester Programs, Projects, and Activities.
The overarching goal of the meeting is to strengthen coordination between the DepEd leadership and school heads to continuously enhance the quality of education in Tarlac Province.
