Tarlac solar power plant to supply Shell

TARLAC CITY, Tarlac (Sept. 22, 2023) — PetroGreen Energy Corp. (PGEC), through its subsidiary PetroSolar Corp., will be the renewable power supplier of Shell Energy Philippines Inc. (SEPH) from its solar power plant in this city.

The agreement was signed last week between PetroSolar and SEPH that will supply the latter clean energy for its needs from its 20-megawatt Tarlac-2 solar plant located in Tarlac Central Technopark inside the former Hacienda Luisita sugar estate.

PGEC is a Philippine renewable energy producer that aims to expand the reach of renewable energy in the country.

SEPH is a retail electricity supplier under the Shell companies in the Philippines offering competitive and environment-friendly energy solutions to industrial customers.
