TARLAC CITY, Tarlac — The Tarlac Provincial Hospital officially inaugurated its new dental chairs and other dental equipment worth ₱3 million on August 8, 2026, funded under the Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLG-IF) of the Provincial Government of Tarlac, led by Governor Christian Yap.
In his message, Governor Yap expressed gratitude for the programs that enable the hospital to strengthen its capacity through modern equipment, which will help provide better and more efficient healthcare services to the people of Tarlac.
“We are very grateful for the newly inaugurated projects of Tarlac Provincial Hospital—a newly inaugurated emergency room area… We made an initiative to get funding P50 million to have it rehabilitated as a good institution,” Governor Yap said.
He also thanked the Department of Health for its contribution to the dental equipment program at the district hospital, emphasizing the need to “continue to serve our people better with quality service.”
Meanwhile, Provincial Director Zotico Villanueva Jr. expressed pride in the continuous advancement of Good Governance by the Provincial Government, municipalities, and barangays. He highlighted the continued cooperation of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in the province in achieving good governance, stressing that projects like these are concrete results of excellent management and proper use of funds for the welfare of every citizen.
“Pormal nating binuksan ang bagong renovated Emergency Room at mga bagong dental equipment sa Tarlac Provincial Hospital,” Governor Yap added, recognizing the support of Vice Gov. Estelita Aquino, DILG Regional Director Araceli San Jose, DILG Provincial Director Zotico Villanueva Jr., Dr. Arsenio Reyes for joining this important milestone.
The ceremony was attended by doctors and staff of Tarlac Provincial Hospital, as well as local personnel of the Provincial Government of Tarlac.
Through these additional equipment, the province continues to advance its goal of achieving a convenient, peaceful, and stable Tarlac, where every Tarlaqueño has access to proper and quality healthcare services.
