PANIQUI, Tarlac — Demonstrating continued commitment to the welfare of senior citizens, the Municipal Government of Paniqui has allocated an additional ₱1,000,000.00 for the Replication Social Pension (Local Pension) program, led by Municipal Mayor Kat Roxas with the support of the Sangguniang Bayan of Paniqui.
The allocation was officially announced on August 6, 2026. It aims to expand the program’s coverage, allowing more qualified Paniqueño senior citizens to receive the local pension, ensuring that beneficiaries across all 35 barangays of the municipality can be reached.
The local government continues to push for programs that provide genuine care and support for the elderly sector in recognition of their valuable contributions to the community.
“Patunay ito ng ating malasakit at pagkilala sa mahalagang ambag ng ating mga nakatatanda sa ating bayan. Patuloy nating isusulong ang mga programang magpapabuti sa kanilang kalidad ng pamumuhay sa ilalim ng Serbisyong MaKATao,” Mayor Roxas stated.
Through the unity of the executive and legislative branches, the Municipal Government of Paniqui continues to deliver programs focused on the welfare of every Paniqueño, in line with the aspiration of “Serbisyong MaKATao.”
The exact date and schedule of the payout for the Local or Social Pension in Paniqui is announced quarterly or per batch through the Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (OSCA) under the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Paniqui whenever the funds are released.
As the local government continues to strengthen its social welfare initiatives, the additional pension fund stands as a testament to Mayor Roxas’ administration’s resolve to leave no senior citizen behind.
