BAMBAN, Tarlac — In a decisive move to strengthen public service delivery at the grassroots level, the Local Government Unit of Bamban, led by Mayor Jose Salting Jr., has formally turned over and blessed 11 L300 units for distribution to the municipality’s barangays.
The turnover, held as part of the Bamban Day Celebration 2026 on June 6, 2026 — a special non-working day in Bamban, Tarlac, celebrating Bamban Day — marks a significant step toward improving emergency response, community-driven projects, and livelihood activities across the town.
According to the local chief executive, the vehicles will serve as a direct support mechanism for barangays to deliver faster and more efficient services to their constituents, particularly in community work, disaster preparedness, and other essential public needs.
The L300 units are seen as a tangible outcome of the administration’s anti-corruption stance and prudent fiscal management. The mayor emphasized that under his leadership, local funds are safeguarded from misuse, ensuring that public money directly benefits the people.
Local officials present at the ceremony noted that the initiative reflects the LGU’s continuing effort to strengthen barangay-level capabilities, improve service quality, and bring government closer to every Bambanense.
The 11 L300 units are expected to be deployed immediately to recipient barangays, enhancing mobility for community responders and livelihood workers alike.
