TARLAC CITY, Tarlac (May 19, 2025) – In a bid to foster inclusive growth and empower the local cooperative sector, the Tarlac City government, through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), successfully conducted an Entrepreneurial Development Training for Muslim Cooperatives on May 14, 2026, at the Executive Boardroom of Tarlac City Hall.
The training was held in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and its Integrated Livelihood Program (DILP). It aimed to equip members of Muslim cooperatives with essential skills in merchandise selling, business management, capital handling, strategy development, and identifying growth opportunities for their livelihoods.
City officials emphasized that the program highlights the role of entrepreneurship in achieving stable income and broader economic participation for Muslim cooperatives in the local market.
