DAR Tarlac gives land titles, CoCROMs to Victoria farmers

VICTORIA, Tarlac (May 21, 2026) – The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Tarlac Provincial Office brought good news to farmers in Victoria, Tarlac.

On May 14, 2026, they distributed land titles and Certificates of Condonation and Release of Mortgage (CoCROMs) to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs).

A total of 39 e-titles and 99 CoCROMs were given to farmers. The CoCROMs program erases unpaid loans, interests, penalties, and surcharges. This means farmers no longer need to pay these old debts.

Engr. Robert R. Dela Cruz, MARPO of Cluster 1A, welcomed everyone and told the farmers that unity and cooperation are important to keep the benefits of agrarian reform in their communities.

Mayor Rex C. Villa Agustin and Councilor Trizia Silao, who is also the OIC-Vice Mayor of Victoria, said they fully support government programs that help farmers. They thanked DAR for giving farmers security over their land and financial help.

Maria Teresa A. Mina, OIC-PARPO I of DAR Tarlac, said the agency will continue to implement programs that secure land ownership, improve farmers’ lives, and support rural development.

She added that because of the law signed by President Bongbong Marcos, all the farmers’ debts are wiped out. She said farmers can now have stable lives and a bright future because farmers are the backbone of the Philippines.

The distribution of land titles and CoCROMs shows the government’s continuous effort to help farmers by giving them secure land ownership and freeing them from money problems. This allows farmers to focus on improving their work and growing more food.
