TARLAC CITY, Tarlac (May 25, 2026) — After a five-month hiatus, pizza lovers in Tarlac can finally rejoice as Pizza Hut officially reopened its doors at SM City Tarlac today, May 25, 2026, debuting a fresh, modernized look after nearly two decades.
The day’s festivities kicked off with a solemn store blessing at 10:00 AM, followed by a ceremonial ribbon-cutting at 10:30 AM. The newly renovated store officially opened its doors to the public at 11:00 AM, drawing eager diners who were treated to a special mascot appearance and an exclusive meet-and-greet session with a beauty queen.
The grand reopening was graced by prominent figures, led by Pizza Hut brand ambassador Kathleen Espenido, who represented Siargao in the Binibining Pilipinas 2025 pageant and previously appeared as a housemate on Pinoy Big Brother in 2022.
Joining her were SM City Tarlac Mall Manager Rina Castro and Raymond Nobleza, the Assistant Vice President for Marketing of PPI Holdings Inc., the sole franchisee of Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and Dairy Queen in the Philippines.
The extensive makeover marks a major milestone for the branch, introducing a contemporary dining environment designed to elevate the customer experience.
“This is our first time to renovate in 16 years. And now we are excited to share the new ambiance,” Jannet Caisip, Area Operations Manager of Pizza Hut Philippines, said.
In addition to the visual upgrade, Caisip also boasted Pizza Hut’s limited-edition Flower Stuffed Crust Pizza, which features a unique flower-shaped, pull-apart crust generously filled with creamy cheese and topped with Parmesan.
With the store now fully operational under its updated concept, the branch aims to continue bringing people together, echoing the brand’s signature campaign: Feed Good Times!
