TARLAC CITY, Tarlac (May 22, 2026) — The Provincial Government of Tarlac has extended financial assistance to 790 residents under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program, reinforcing its commitment to delivering swift and compassionate service to Tarlakenyos in need.
The payout, held on May 21 at the Bulwagan ng Kanlahi, Diwa ng Tarlac, benefited individuals from the province’s first, second, and third districts. The aid covered burial assistance, medical needs, dialysis, chemotherapy, and hospital bills.
The program was facilitated by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) under the leadership of Governor Christian Yap, in partnership with Vice Governor Lita Aquino.
In a statement, Governor Yap said:
“Kabuuang 790 benepisyaryo mula sa District I, II, at III ang nabigyan ng tulong bilang bahagi ng ating patuloy na malasakit at suporta sa bawat Tarlaqueño na nangangailangan. Sama-sama po nating itaguyod ang isang mas maalaga, mas matatag, at mas maunlad na Tarlac.”
The provincial government emphasized that the AICS program serves as a testament to its ongoing priority of addressing the financial struggles faced by residents, particularly those coping with funeral expenses, hospitalization, and critical medical treatments such as dialysis and chemotherapy.
Through the initiative, Tarlac leadership reaffirms its commitment to building a more caring, resilient, and progressive province for all.
