PANIQUI, Tarlac (April 20, 2026) – Ensuring that quality healthcare reaches every resident, Municipal Mayor Kat Roxas personally inspected the ongoing renovation of the Paniqui General Hospital today, April 20, 2026, as part of the local government’s sustained health development program.
During the visit, Mayor Roxas closely examined the progress of the facility upgrade to guarantee that the hospital will provide proper and high-quality services for the people of Paniqui. She also took time to talk with patients who were at the hospital for consultations, listening firsthand to their condition and needs.
“Personal kong sinuri ang kasalukuyang renovation ng Paniqui General Hospital upang masiguro na maayos at dekalidad ang mga pasilidad na ating inihahanda para sa bawat Paniqueño. Habang naroon, kinamusta ko rin ang ating mga kababayang nagpunta para magpatingin—mahalaga sa akin na marinig mismo ang kanilang kalagayan at pangangailangan. Patuloy po tayong magsisikap na mapabuti ang serbisyong pangkalusugan sa ating bayan,” the mayor said in a Facebook post.
Medical Mission Reaches Barangays
In line with the local government’s commitment to accessible healthcare, a free medical mission was successfully conducted in various barangays. The program aimed to ensure that every Paniqueño has access to quality and free medical treatment.
Residents who participated received medical check-ups, including consultations with licensed physicians; laboratory services, such as free diagnostic tests and screenings; and free medicines, which included the distribution of vitamins and medications for common ailments.
The activity was spearheaded by Mayor Kat Roxas, Vice Mayor Jake Roxas, and the Sangguniang Bayan, in collaboration with the Provincial Government of Tarlac, Paniqui General Hospital, Paniqui Rural Health Unit (RHU), and the Congressman Enrique “Henry” M. Cojuangco Memorial District Hospital.
Continued Assistance for Residents
The Municipal Government of Paniqui also continues to provide financial, medical, and burial assistance to residents in need.
The local government expressed gratitude to all staff, volunteers, and barangay officials who helped ensure the success of the programs.
“Serbisyong may puso, para sa mas maayos at mas ligtas na Paniqui,” the mayor said.
The LGU has pledged to continue delivering compassionate service to every corner of the municipality.
