CAPAS, Tarlac (Sept. 5, 2024) — A court here ordered the arrest of dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo on graft charges.
The Regional Trial Court Branch 109 issued the order for two counts of violation of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act or Republic Act No. 3019. Bail was set at P90,000 for each count.
The court order stemmed from the criminal case filed by the Ombudsman against Guo.
The former mayor fled the country in early July but was arrested yesterday morning in Indonesia.
