BAMBAN, Tarlac (July 13, 2024) — Mere hours after saying she does not regret entering politics, the Senate has issued an arrest order for Mayor Alice Guo.
Four teams were ordered to serve the warrants by the Senate Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms (OSAA), however, they failed to locate the suspended mayor at her registered address in this town.
Arrest orders were also released against Guo’s father Jian Zhong Guo, her mother Wen Yi Lin, her siblings, Sheila, Wesley, and Seimen Guo, Nancy Gamo, and Dennis Cunanan for failure to attend the Senate hearing on the illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO) in Bamban, Tarlac.
If arrested by the OSAA, they will be detained in the Senate building.
