Mike Enriquez, 71

TARLAKENYO (August 29, 2023) — Miguel Castro Enriquez passed on. He was 71.

Professionally known as Mike Enriquez, he gained prominence in the television investigative docudrama show “Imbestigador” on GMA Network which he hosted from 2000 to 2023.

He also co-hosted several GMA Network – Saksi, Frontpage, and 24 Oras, to name a few.

Enriquez was also credited with the huge success of DWKC 93.9FM owned and operated by Radio Mindanao Network.

He was a Consultant for radio operations at GMA Network and also the President of the networkā€™s regional and radio arm, RGMA Network Inc., and Station Manager at Super Radyo DZBB 594khz.

In 2018, Enriquez revealed that he is suffering from two undisclosed ailments. In December 2021, he underwent a kidney transplant but was back on his news program only three months later.

According to friend and fellow broadcast journalist Julius Manahan, Enriquez suffered from cardiac arrest.

He is survived by his wife Lizabeth Yumping.
