GERONA, Tarlac (June 29, 2023) — SM Foundation Inc. (SMFI) recently launched its 261st batch of Kabalikat sa Kabuhayan (KSK) on Sustainable Agriculture Program at Farmers Training Center, Brgy. Tagumbao, Gerona, Tarlac.
The program is in partnership with the Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Tourism (DOT), SM Markets, SM Supermalls, and St. Isidore “The Farmer” Learning Center, Inc.
SMās KSK on Sustainable Agriculture Program is a farmerās training that helps bring back hope in farming by updating the agricultural knowledge of our farmers. For 14 weeks, farmers are taught effective backyard planting and small-scale farming techniques for fruits and vegetables. This helps improve the quality and quantity of their crops and provides organic food for their families.
