TARLAKENYO (June 11, 2023) — As of now, there are about 23,000 open opportunities at various job fairs in Luzon to commemorate the 125th anniversary of Philippine Independence Day on June 12.
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE-3) has scheduled six job fairs with almost 12,000 openings in Central Luzon.
The activities will take place concurrently in the provinces of Zambales, Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, and Bataan.
A total of 1,871 jobs are available via DOLE-3 in Nueva Ecija at Robinsons Townville, Maharlika Highway, Barangay H. Concepcion in Cabanatuan City.
The number of vacancies in SM Olongapo Central and SM City Tarlac, respectively, is 1,551 and 727.
“As of June 6, we have recorded over 11,700 local vacancies available to our six job fair sites on June 12,” Aurita Laxamana, the recently appointed chief of DOLE-3’s Employment and Welfare Division, said in a statement on Thursday.
Production employees, customer service agents, quality assurance inspectors, sales associates, merchandise/store clerks, sewers, cashiers, warehouse staff, culinary staff, and service crew are among the top 10 local employment positions to be established, according to her.
