The ASUS ROG Ally console confirmed for worldwide release

TARLAKENYO (Apr. 17, 2023) — ASUS plans to make a significant impact on the gaming market with the release of its latest product, the ROG Ally console.

This device has been confirmed for global release and may be launched sooner than expected.

The console is handheld, has a 7-inch 1080p 120Hz screen, and runs Windows games. It competes with the Steam Deck and boasts an AMD Zen2 and RDNA2 custom APU, delivering twice the performance at the same power limit of 35W and 50% better framerate in 15W mode.

However, performance may not always translate into the same framerate boost due to the variety of Windows titles, some of which are more CPU or GPU bound.

The success of the launch will depend on the pricing, and rumors suggest the console will cost around PhP 36,360 when it is released this quartern.

ASUS has yet to confirm the full specifications, release date, and pricing.
