TARLAKENYO (April 20, 2023) — SpaceX Starship โ the most powerful rocket ever built – exploded in mid-air after launching in its second attempt in Boca Chica in Texas, in the United States.
Elon Musk’s space vehicle was selected by the National Aeronautical Space Administration to support sustained lunar exploration. This test flight is aimed at sending the vehicle’s upper stage eastward to almost circumnavigate the globe.
Starship’s first launch attempt last Monday was called off minutes before launch due to a technical fault.
The spacecraft stands nearly 120m high and is designed to have almost double the thrust of any previous rocket.
