PHLPost to issue Tarlac stamps

TARLAC CITY, Tarlac (April 30, 2023) — The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) and the Provincial Government of Tarlac signed a Memorandum of Agreement to highlight the province’s 150th founding anniversary.

The commemorative stamps will feature Tarlac’s rich historical heritage, highlighted by its role in the Philippine Revolution, briefly becoming the capital of the Philippines in March 1899, when General Emilio Aguinaldo abandoned the former capital, Malolos, Bulacan.

The Agreement was signed by PHLPost Postmaster General Luis Carlos and Tarlac Governor Susan Yap last Friday.

The designs that will appear on the commemorative stamps are still under wraps.
