TARLAC CITY, Tarlac (April 19, 2023) — The city government of Mayor Cristy Angeles has invited the top restaurants here to showcase their cooking skills as the first “MasterChef Rabbit Meat Cookfest 2023” kicked off this evening.
The best resto companies were given the chance to showcase their originality and creativity by using rabbit meat as the main ingredient in their various dishes that will surely meet your cravings!
“Rabbit meat is a great source of income since it is a part of the livelihood program of our city government and protein plus it is a zero cholesterol. We promote rabbit meat as it can be a healthy alternative to pork, beef, and chicken,” Angeles said.
“Kaya natin ‘to. Good luck!” Mayor Cristy said as she gave the cue to start the cookfest officially.
The 15 contestants are given 90 minutes to prepare, cook and present their best rabbit dish in the city.
Amcardo Cafe, Apag, Cafe Griego, Dampa sa Tarlac, Gidang’s Kitchen, Hungry Plates Sizzling House, Julia’s Filipino-Chinese Cuisine, Oliver’s Kitchen, Pekamura Diner, Rustica’s Restaurant, Sabado Grounds, Sanchez Eatery, Stella’s Ristorante, Tessie’s Grill and Roasters, and The Shed Cafe are all vying for the prestigious title of “MasterChef” when it comes to cooking exotic rabbit meat.
