TARLAC CITY, Tarlac (Jan. 15, 2023) — The Tarlac Chess Club tournament is back on after scores of applicants from all over Luzon have joined the competition which will be held on January 29, 2023, at SM City here.
The city will be bannered by the Calacday family which so far fielded their top three players.
The Open Chess Tournament 2023 registration of P300 per participant is still ongoing.
The Under 2200 Champion will receive P7,000 and a trophy; Top Tarlac City Player P2,000 and a medal; Top Lady P1,000 and a medal; Top College Player P1,000 and a medal, and; Top High School Player P1,000 and a medal.
Meanwhile, In the 12 Years Old and Below Category Champion will take home P3,000 and a trophy.
