NLEX renovates NOLCOM facility

CAMP AQUINO, Tarlac City (Dec. 13, 2023) — The Northern Luzon Command (NOLCOM) unveiled its newly refurbished facility for military personnel and civilian guests.

The transient facility’s refurbishment of the old female barracks was funded by North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Corporation in partnership with Hong Kong-based construction company Leighton Asia. The facilityā€™s chapel will also be renovated soon.

This is the second renovation project undertaken by NLEX after refurbishing the male barracks earlier this year.

Rodrigo Franco, head of the Resource Planning and Generation of NOLCOMā€™s Multi-Sector Governance Council, said that helping provide resources for the military unit will contribute to their operations in maintaining peace and security in Northern Luzon.

“By helping NOLCOM, we are also helping our nation. Because through this, we make the command more effective in its difficult role in protecting our country,” Franco said.
