GERONA, Tarlac — The San Bartolome Bridge remains passable only to vehicles with two (2) and three (3) wheels as of 7:00 a.m., according to an advisory released by the Gerona, local government unit and Mayor May Eclar.
In a public update posted online, the LGU said that four-wheeled vehicles are advised to use alternative routes to ensure the safety of all motorists and travelers.
“Patuloy nating minomonitor ang kalagayan ng San Bartolome Bridge para sa kaligtasan ng bawat biyahero,” Mayor Eclar said in her advisory, noting that barangay personnel continue to monitor the bridge around the clock.
The local chief executive also urged the public to cooperate with traffic authorities and follow the implemented vehicle restrictions.
“Hinihiling ko sa lahat na maging maingat, sumunod sa mga ipinatutupad na restrictions, at makipagtulungan sa ating mga awtoridad,” she added.
The LGU likewise encouraged motorists to slow down and remain alert in every trip, stressing that safety remains the top priority.
“Mag-ingat, magbagal, at manatiling alerto sa bawat biyahe, mga kababayan,” the advisory read.
