TARLAC CITY, Tarlac (May 24, 2024) — The Joint Tactical Inspection (JTI) and general assembly of security and agency personnel of SM Malls – North 3 in Tarlac, Olongapo, and Bataan was held on May 24, 2024, at SM City Olongapo Central.
The annual activity aims to test the training management, emergency response skills, administrative efficiency, and proficiency of the security forces assigned in SM Supermalls, SM Retail Group, and its affiliates to ensure the safety of customers, employees, and tenants.
During the JTI, the security force’s firearms, gear, uniform, paraphernalia as well as communication equipment and other support gadgets were examined to ensure compliance with the standards set by the company. Likewise, agency personnel for the janitorial services of the malls were also evaluated.
PCol. Charlie D. Umayam, Olongapo PNP City Director, graced the event as the guest of honor and speaker.
Security and other agency personnel were also given certificates of commendation for their honesty and good deeds in returning valuable recovered items to mall patrons.
