CAPAS, Tarlac (June 12, 2023) — More than 1,400 young Asian tankers are expected to compete at the Aquatics Center in New Clark City here in December.
The 11th Asian Age Group swimming competition is from December 3 to 14. Swimmers from 45 countries aged 11 to 18 are expected to compete in diving, water polo, swimming, and artistic or synchronized swimming.
This year’s championships will also serve as qualifiers for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The Asian Swimming Federation granted the Philippine Olympic Committee and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority the hosting rights for the swim meet that was originally scheduled for 2020 but was postponed due to the pandemic.
The newest airport terminal in Clark and road arteries leading to the world-class Aquatic Center will provide convenience to the delegates.
