NAMPICUAN, Nueva Ecija (January 28, 2026) ā Several Tarlac-based organizations joined a collaborative health initiative to provide free medical and dental services to about 700 residents across 21 barangays here.
āThe Tactical Operations Group 3 (TOG 3) of the Philippine Air Force, led by Colonel Jujin Grant Generalao, partnered with the Local Government of Nampicuan and the Members Church of God International (MCGI) to host the “Community Outreach Program” at the Nampicuan Municipal Gymnasium.
The Tarlac Dental Center, Talon General Hospital, Tarlac Medical Center, and the Camp Aquino Veterinary Unit were only some of the organizations from the neighboring province of Tarlac. Tarlac City is just 37 kilometers from this town compared to Nueva Ecija’s capital, Palayan City, which is almost 90 kilometers away.
Aside from the free services, the town’s Mayor Mario Lacurom accepted five wheelchairs donated by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
“We will always remember the assistance given by the AFP in our town in giving help to the poorest towns,” Lacurom said.
āThe mission provided a wide array of services, including free medical consultations, dental services, distribution of essential drugs and medicines, and free legal services.
Generalao emphasized that the success of the project stemmed from the “sanib-puwersa” of the government and NGOs.
