TARLAKENYO (Oct. 16, 2025) — The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) – III has issued new wage orders mandating pay increases for private sector employees and domestic workers across Central Luzon starting Oct. 30, 2025.
The orders, approved on Sept. 16, 2025, were formulated following a series of public hearings, including one held at the Old SP Hall in Tarlac City on Sept. 9, where stakeholders from Tarlac and Nueva Ecija voiced their positions.
Wage Order No. RBIII-26 grants a basic daily increase ranging from P50 to P80 for minimum wage earners, while Wage Order No. RBIII-DW-05 raises the monthly minimum wage for domestic workers by P500.
For Tarlac, which is grouped with Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, and Zambales, the daily wage increase will be implemented in two tranches.
Workers in the non-agriculture, agriculture, and retail/service sectors will receive an initial P20 increase upon the order’s effectivity on Oct. 30, 2025.
A second increase of P30 will follow on April 16, 2026. This will bring the new daily minimum wage for non-agriculture workers in Tarlac to P600.
Concurrently, domestic workers across Region III, including those in Tarlac, will see their monthly minimum wage rise from P6,000 to P6,500 starting October 30.
The wage board cited factors such as the rising Consumer Price Index and the need to restore workers’ purchasing power as key reasons for the adjustment. The orders cover all minimum wage earners in the private sector and domestic workers, with strict penalties prescribed for non-compliance.
