CONCEPCION, Tarlac (Sept. 8, 2025) – The final scheduled toll increase for the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) takes effect tomorrow, September 9, 2025, following approval from the Toll Regulatory Board.
The adjustment, the last of a three-part hike originally planned for 2021 and 2023, will see rates rise by ₱0.64 per km for cars (Class 1), ₱1.29 for buses (Class 2), and ₱1.93 for trucks (Class 3). For example, a trip from Mabalacat to Tarlac will now cost an additional ₱25 for cars, ₱51 for buses, and ₱75 for trucks.
NLEX Corporation states that the increased revenue supports recent safety and infrastructure upgrades, including the new Clark City Interchange, enhanced RFID systems for faster transactions, and repairs to key bridges. Motorists are advised to ensure their RFID accounts are sufficiently loaded.
