TARLAKENYO (June 13, 2025) — To honor the strength, resilience, and courage of our Filipino heroes, SM City Tarlac raised the Philippine flag and commemorated our heroes on the 127th Philippine Independence Day, along with SM Supermalls nationwide.
Boy Scouts of the Philippines, Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, and Armed Forces of the Philippines personnel joined SM City Tarlac, raising their salutes to the national flag at the Upper Ground Level, Mall Atrium.
Assistant Mall Manager Engineer John Lumibao starts the program with his opening remarks, highlighting the SMās initiative to honor and commemorate the event, followed by the parade of colors and singing of our Philippine National Anthem.
Tarlac City Hall Business Permits and Licensing Office Head Ms. Lorie Ledesma, attended the event as the representative of Tarlac City Mayor Cristy Angeles. Tarlac State University Performing Arts, Koro Angelicous, Koro San Antonio, and Coleen De Rama prepared a diverse range of performances as a tribute to Philippine patriotism.
SM City Tarlac employees, affiliates, and tenants all came together to celebrate Philippine Independence Day.
