TARLAC CITY, Tarlac (April 29, 2025) — Tarlac province is fast becoming a preferred destination for industrial investments, as Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates accelerates the development of TARI Estates, its newest economic zone in the region.
With three major investors already secured, including a leading food manufacturer set to occupy 40 hectares, the project highlights Tarlac’s growing appeal as a strategic business hub.
Rafael Fernandez de Mesa, the head of Aboitiz InfraCapital, speaking at the Industrial Summit 2025 in Makati City last Sunday, noted the surge in investor interest.
“TARI Estates is already seeing strong interest. We’re attracting the same high-quality mix of locators that we see in our other estates — companies from electronics, automotive, and now increasingly food and consumer goods industries,” said de Mesa, also the president and CEO of Aboitiz Land, Inc.
The 384-hectare mixed-use development, a joint venture between Aboitiz InfraCapital (49%) and House of Investments (51%), signals a broader shift in investment trends, with businesses increasingly favoring northern Luzon over traditional southern hubs like Batangas and Laguna.
Strategically positioned north of Metro Manila, TARI Estates offers locators a comprehensive ecosystem, including industrial zones, retail spaces, offices, transport terminals, and employee housing. The project is expected to boost Tarlac’s economy by generating jobs and diversifying industries in the region.
As the fourth economic estate under Aboitiz InfraCapital, following successes in Batangas and Cebu, TARI Estates reinforces Tarlac’s rising prominence as a key investment destination in the Philippines.
