TARLAC CITY, Tarlac (Oct. 12, 2023) — The Central Azucarera de Tarlac (CAT) disclosed plans to sell 200 hectares of its property here.
CAT – an integrated manufacturing facility that processes sugar and all its by-products – wholly owns Luisita Land Corp. which approved the sale to Aboitiz Group.
In a statement, CAT said they are still discussing some proposed conditions that must be met.
Luisita Land manages properties, water distribution, and wastewater treatment to industrial locators at the Luisita Industrial Park and Las Haciendas de Luisita residents.
